Shared Cost Agreement

No awkward money conversations later

The host lists the expenses and proposes a split, equal or not. Everyone reviews it and confirms, and every change is recorded with who made it and when.

What the host expects it to cost: stay, rental, fuel, tolls, parking, taxes and anything else.

Agreed expenses

The split once every participant has confirmed it. If it changes, everyone confirms again.

Final actual expenses

What was really spent, shown beside the estimate and the agreement.

UsGo! doesn’t take payments. Confirming an agreement doesn’t mean anyone has paid.

Verification helps, but it isn’t a guarantee of anyone’s safety or behaviour. Meet in public, trust your judgement, and agree plans first.

Safety guidelines

Identity verification

UsGo! staff review an ID and selfie before someone can host or join. They’re never shown publicly, and are deleted after the decision.

Honest profiles

See verification status, completed experiences and reviews from people who took part. No unexplained scores.

Report, block and mute

Report someone privately, or block or mute them. They aren’t told who did it.

Real moderation

Staff review reports and can hide listings or suspend accounts. Actions are logged, and you can appeal.

Straight answers

Can other travellers see what I post?

Trips you publish, yes: everyone on UsGo! can see them. Join requests go to the host, and messages go only to the other traveller. Only approved travellers can do these. Other posts are still saved in your browser, so no one else sees them yet. The website shows no made-up listings or profiles.

Can I book or pay through UsGo!?

Not on this website. It doesn't take payments or make reservations. A stay enquiry is saved in your browser and isn't sent to the property.

Will I definitely save money?

Not necessarily. Sharing works only when the provider permits it and everyone agrees. Always confirm the total price, cancellation terms and each person's share before paying.

Are profiles verified?

To join or host trips, contact travellers or share stays, you must verify your profile: the UsGo! team reviews a photo of your ID and a selfie. Verification lowers risk but can't guarantee anyone's behaviour. See the Trust Centre for what verification will and won't mean.
